Tēnā tātou!
After 2 months of publishing some of Aotearoa’s best writing and art we thought we’d come together virtually to celebrate!
This afternoon we are holding a Zoom reading, and would love for you all to attend. We know that Zoom fatigue is real, and that many of us will be away from our screens during Level 2, however if you would like to join we can promise a stellar line-up of writers from all around the country.
This includes: Stacey Teague, Michael Steven, Eliana Gray, Alayne Dick, Erik Kennedy, Sophie Van Waardenberg, Rebecca Hawkes, Anthony Lapwood, Sara Hirsch, Whitney Nuku, Charlotte Simmonds and Tracey Slaughter!
The details of the event can be found on our Facebook event page, and a Zoom link will be posted there at 12:30pm, with the reading starting at 1:00pm. We would love to see you there!
This week we brought you written work from Charlotte Simmonds, Nina Powles, Vanessa Mei Crofskey, Rhys Feeney and Grace Tong, as well as a visual arts showcase from Maisie Chilton Tressler. You can find a link to all of these works below.
As we move into Level 2, and life starts to resume its usual pace, Stasis will be slowing down. Instead of our daily publishing schedule, we will be dropping publication to 3 times per week. This will allow some breathing room for our small team. We are still open for submissions, and are very much enjoying reading all your work.
Have a great long weekend, and stay healthy and safe.
